Heather discusses three encounters she had with polyamorous couples and what she learned. (Side Note: I used A LOT of filler words in this episode. My apologies. That’s what you get when I’m speaking “off the cuff”. Ideally, I would have retaped the episode, but I didn’t.)

Great Listen for all walks of life

1000 First Dates checks all the blocks for me.
Entertaining ✅
Educational✅
Self-Helping✅
Excellent Content✅
Not only is Heather well-versed in psychology (with several degrees under her belt), but she has first-hand experience in life’s difficulties and shares very personal information about her own life with hopes that her story will resonate with and help others who are struggling with depression, grief, codependency, dating, etc... Her passion on these topics is genuine and inspiring. She is a cheerleader for human decency and you often feel like she is speaking directly to you in her podcast episodes. The variety of content and tone from episode to episode keeps her show very interesting. Some are more serious/raw and you may find yourself dabbing your eyes. Others are hilarious dating stories. Some are collaborations with other mental health enthusiasts and some you feel like you are in class learning about human behavior. Heather is extremely open and genuine and you can truly FEEL her desire to get through to anyone who needs it. She makes you feel like no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve been through, there is always hope for self-improvement and recovery as long as you’re willing to put in the work, because everyone deserves to be happy. I highly recommend 1000 First Dates. It’s a great listen. You will laugh, you may cry, you will learn, and you will be better for it!
