Wonderful, fascinating guests all reviewed with such depth and grace by the lovely Jordan Kisner. I learn something new about writing and the writing life with each episode.

I recommend this podcast to all of my friends, especially those who love to write. Incredibly insightful, and some of my all-time favorite authors (and new favorites!) are guests on the show. Couldn’t ask for more.

Easily my favorite podcast out there—Jordan’s interviews highlight the humanity, humor, tenderness, and difficulty in writing and creating. I am grateful for every new episode!

What could be better than disappearing into a brilliant new novel? Hearing Jordan interview the book’s author and getting to dive even deeper into the brilliance. So grateful that Thresholds exists to satisfy all my writerly fascinations.

Each conversation is vulnerable and rich with insights about human expression. Jordan asks questions that sustain depth.

Said episode I listened to. I loved that the host Jordan does not interrupt the guest at all. She has a talent for podcast.

A whole paragraph about the interviewee’s education and awards but barely a sentence about what is actually discussed? Sorry, ain’t got time for that.

I’ve only listened to one episode with Ocean Vuong so far but the host reminds me of Krista Tippet with an ability to create an atmosphere of compassion, insight and wisdom. Jordan Kisner has a keen talent for bringing out exceptional interviews from this incredible line-up of guests. The conversations are so warm and inviting and comfortable, even when talking about huge thorny topics, and they always leave me thinking — in the bestt of ways.
