When word finally came to Ezekiel that Jerusalem had been destroyed, he turned his attention to the surrounding nations. One of those was Tyre, which was a great and powerful city. When Tyre was destroyed, it seemed like a fulfillment of Ezekiel’s prophecy, but we’ll find out that his prophecy would not be complete for another 300 years.
