Description
Sylvie and Bruno is one of Lewis Carroll's (the writer of Alice in Wonderland) final novels. The story consists of two different plots. The first takes place in the real world in the Victorian era and the second taking place in a continuous dream set in Fairyland. The tale weaves through these different worlds as told by the narrator. In the dream a princess, Sylvie, and her brother, Bruno face trouble as their father's crown is threatened by corrupt chancellors and officials. The pair find they're actually fairies and soon the story of Sylvie and Bruno begins to merge with the real world.
