“I’m literally mouth open listening to the latest episode on scrapping the 2 child policy.
Where on earth did you find the guest - the mother of 3 with health issues. “The policy should not apply to people like me because I have HIV and it’s hard to find someone to unconditionally love me and so I should be able to have as many children as I want”. WHAT! Congratulations on probably finding the exact example on what this policy was designed to cut down on. Her decision making is not only entirely selfish (eg having children for someone to love her) , the baby has poor quality of life and she’s made life worse for her existing children. There’s even the cheek to say that she came fourth in the Tesco mother of the year contest - I’d hate to see who came 5th!!!!
If the aim of the episode was to solidify the view that the policy should absolutely not be scrapped then well done - mission accomplished!”
