I just can’t with all these mouth sounds

Seasons 1 and 2 were really good! Season 3… is literally a study in 80s satanic panic. The first episode tries to say it isn’t… but yes it totally is. I will say that I LOVE the season 3 music. Seriously, give the music writer a bonus.

Reporting is great but you need a better transition between the story and the commercial. Very jarring.

Formulaic and predictable, but also drawn out. Frankly, the most horrifying thing is the grammar of those being interviewed.

We all knew about the devil worshiping out at the lake. For a town where there are churches everywhere, the occult was one thing that San Angelo couldn’t and cannot overcome. TM has created another great podcast and exposes the hypocrisy of God fearing small towns.

I love this podcast! Top tier reporting, narration, interviews etc. I hope you do updates if Tom’s murdered is solved.

I recently only learned about this podcast. Friends of mine on Facebook have been posting the trailer link for the “Shane and Sally” episode. I grew up in San Angelo and was the same age as Shane when he went missing. I remember the coverage of this story well. When I found out that it dies t air...Read full review »

Skip can investigate and tell you a story about it in a way that makes you want to hear more & more of him!! Both gentlemen do an awesome job in this series! The very best of Texas investigative reporters—-Ilove to hear Skip tell a story 💞❤️💞

This podcast is really well done though infuriating. I hope that someday there is justice for Tom. I obviously don’t know what happened, but the idea that this by all accounts very indoorsy teenage boy walked 12 miles through the woods (about 6hours if flat ground) with no flashlight on a cold...Read full review »

I have listened to a lot of true crime and I am rarely impressed. I listened to Stephenville season 2 first prior to Toms Body season 1 and I was intrigued with Bryan’s interviewing skills and narration. It reminded me of Gone South podcast season 1, which was fantastic. I’m completely baffled at...Read full review »

This is an okay podcast. If you love these types of crime story podcasts, you will almost certainly like this one. As with most of these that I’ve heard, the narrator keeps inserting his opinions into the story. No narrator, we don’t care what you think about Stephenville or anything else. ...Read full review »

I just listed to both seasons and have to say how well done they are. The facts are talked about and not gone over and over. I really enjoyed these and look forward to more.

Brian is an excellent narrator/interviewer. It isn’t overdramatized with chatty narrator discussions. Professionally done podcast.

Show is fantastic! Is it possible in the next one to help with the nose weezing from individuals? Its prominent from two people and it’s maddening.

Christians are being put into a category as all and that is wrong. (discrimination) I am a Christian and I would NEVER reject my child if he or she was gay. I do not have to agree with a persons choices to love them. Discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age,...Read full review »

Season 1 entertaining! A huge fail on the police dept of Canadian that they dismissed this crime as a homicide. Obvious since episode 2 he was murdered.

Can’t recommend Season 1 enough. What a drop off in quality with Season 2 though. A new host who inserts himself into every aspect of the story he possibly can. Season 2 is filled with narrative woes from sloppy storytelling to revealing the ending in the first episode’s preamble. Do yourself a...Read full review »

After EVERYTHING this mother has done to find her son, to hear her say she wouldn’t accept him as he is if he was gay. This form of christianity is a plague on our world.

This podcast was done w professionalism, yet the host displayed compassion for the victims, family, and friends. This story needed to be heard, hopefully to keep the same scenario from repeating. I have to admit that their were times that I was so frustrated because law enforcement, family, and...Read full review »

That guy Klein is a deluded and wreck less character. He clearly needs attention desperately, and of ours is making money the further things go on. There is a reason law enforcement are careful about what they say, not acting on conjecture or falsely throwing out theories that are absolutely...Read full review »

So aside from not doing luminal until the vehicle was back in the family’s possession… did they see about fingerprints? Very interesting podcast, but very messed up that there were so many conflicting motives and responses.

Love the storytelling and thorough research done. I’m only on season 1 but I would love higher quality with the audio. I’m giving the story, interviews and narration the four stars. It was a well done podcast. You’re exactly right about this town. Mr Van Horn was a teacher in the 80’s and he used to use a paddle on kids and call the other teachers in to watch. This is a fabulous podcast! It’s well told and paced great. The absolutely terrible police work made me want to scream. So much pain and collateral damage because of small minded, misogynistic, and lazy officers. My heart goes out to Shannon and Michael.

Every part of the podcast was fantastic EXCEPT the ridiculous amount of airtime given to one of the most arrogant, incompetent show boaters in history: Phillip Klein. My eyes are sore from rolling them so often.
