Laughs with life-lessons
Tom Rhodes Radio has become a key part of my morning ritual. I spilled my coffee on my lap while driving after laughing so hard at a line from one of his guests, comedian, Drew Hastings. The show reflects the man behind it — a comedian whose travelled the world for over 30 years and lived to tell the tales of his incredible adventures and introduce you to some of unique comedians, authors and friends he’s met along the way. You never feel talked down to or preached to — instead the show is so real — it’s as if you’re at a table with your most interesting old friends over a beer having the best conversation you’ve had in a long time. My favourite episodes with guests like Drew Hastings and Pulitzer Prize Winner, Gilbert King had a common theme of big. meaningful goals and dreams happening after a long road only after letting go of the outcome — something I didn’t expect when I started listening. I have Tim Ferriss, James Altucher and Dan Carlin on my podcast list but Tom Rhodes is the podcast I listen to when I want and learn something I didn’t know.
