You know when they say something is “the X you never knew you needed?” Well as someone who always Wikipedias the synopsis of movies she was too chicken too watch, I’m absolutely in love with this podcast. Emily, Henley and Sammy are so fun to listen to and their guests are always great too. Also,...Read full review »

Recaps so good and so detailed, I can see the movie in my head. Great for when I’m at work and can’t actually watch these movies. Only downside to the audio-only format is you don’t get to see the facial expressions that accompany some of the bigger reactions from Emily and Henley.

I just started listening a few months ago because I was getting a bit annoyed with the other horror movie podcasts I listen to. I like the interaction between the hosts, and I like listening to them retell the events of the movies, even though I have seen them all already. Occasionally there is...Read full review »

This is the best horror movie podcast out there! Perfect for scaredy cats and horror heads alike. The hosts are hilarious and their conversation makes it seem like you’re part of the group! This is a really fun show. I do enjoy the run down of some of these movies. I’ve listened to just about all the episodes and I genuinely enjoy the hosts. Most of the pre-movie recap stuff is just fluff, filler and meh, but when they get to the trailer and after, it’s fun! BUT! I’ve started...Read full review »

I watched Black Christmas(1974) and wanted to listen to a podcast that discussed it. I picked this one because it has three female hosts. I was unsure of the premise initially that only one host watched and described the movie to the other two but Sammy’s description and performance of the movie...Read full review »

Hey TSDW! I stumbled upon you guys the other day and I’ve been addicted to the show ever since. I’m sort of a halfway scaredy-cat. By that, I mean that I feel heavily accomplished when I get through a horror film… but I require a huge push to press play on most of them. I’ve listened to episodes...Read full review »

Ernest Scared Stupid is the scariest movie I’ve ever seen. There’s a part where a girl is laying in bed and turns onto one side, and when she turns back the troll is iN hER BeD and I’ve never faced the side of the bed again. 2/10 stars.

This is *such* a fun, entertaining podcast! I love scary movies, but am also, somehow, too scared to watch them.
