“Growing up as a young man who loved horror, there was a simple fact we knew as horror fans: eight out of ten women just don't know how to talk about horror. Then I listened to this podcast where three out of three women talk about horror movies, and they're better than 99 percent of horror podcasts out there. I'm thinking some statistician accidentally misrepresented the 8 out of 10 number--what other explanation is there?
Honestly though, I love this podcast. It's really fun listening to Sammy tell her friends about the horror films the friends are too scared to watch.
And while some reviews mention questionable statistics regarding women and horror, or complain about the "POLITICS" discussed in the show, I appreciate the female perspective paired with leftist politics. These women are champions of the working class, and if I could, I'd give them all high fives.
Even if you've watched the movies they're recapping, it's still super fun. I think the hosts are funny, not mean-spirited, and every week I eagerly wait for the new episode to drop.
