Excellent podcast. The critiques of the “as a Jew” folks on the far left have been particularly cathartic.

Commonly we expect ‘blood to be thicker than water,’ but in Deuteronomy 13 we are taught a very difficult lesson: “If your very own brother or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you…do not yield…” Close family can be enemies of God.
