Hey guys I’m a big fan of your podcast from India. I’ve been listening to your podcast ‘totally tintin’ on loop since 2019 almost every night before falling asleep. It’s like a ritual for me now. However I never thought I’llhear anything from you on this channel so when I saw a bonus episode I...Read full review »

Listening to all the episodes in 2020! Grew up with the animated TV-show from the 90s and audiobook versions, both dubbed in swedish and still are modestly popular here! In Swedish the famous ”blistering barnacles” is replaced with ”anfäkta och anamma” which loosly means ”to besett and embarce”....Read full review »

Great format and great content! In depth background on Herge and on the book tackled, a review of the story page by page, and a quick wrap up at the end of each episode!

I thoroughly enjoyed the show. A bit geeky at times (well, most of the time..), but that’s what makes it so great!

One of the most meaningful podcast experiences I have had. A must listen.

Another excellent sidecast from the Sneaky Dragon team of Ian Boothby and David Dedrick. As with their excellent Compleatly Beatles project, Dave is the lifelong fan, and Ian the newby - a comics nut, but one who has never read Tintin before. It's the exchanges between the two that make this a...Read full review »

These two podcasters discuss each Tintin book with insight and humour. One is a fan and the other is reading them for the first time. They describe the story, the contemporary background, Herge the author, the inconsistencies, the plot, and the artwork. As a Tintin fan myself i was in heaven...Read full review »

As a casual reader of Tintin books as a child it has been a delight to re-examine these treasures with the witty and insightful guidance of David and Ian. Highly recommended.

I grew up with Tintin, I love Tintin, and I love this podcast. David brings a lot of great information to each of the books and it’s great to hear Ian’s side of things as he reads through all of the books for the first time. I love to hear them debate through some of the passages of each book,...Read full review »

Fantastic podcast! I've been hoping for a Tintin podcast for quite some time and it's better then I could have imagined. I've learned a lot from all the great behind the scenes info. Super detailed, great hosts, in-depth backstory of Hergé and how the comics were made and of course Tintin. What...Read full review »

A fantastic resource looking at each Tintin album presented by a die-hard fan and a new to Tintin cartoon specialist. I thought I knew a lot about Tintin but the anecdotal style of this podcast weaves historical context, cartoon theory and analysis of Hergé’s work together and it is a joy to...Read full review »

I have a confession: I've never liked comics. I respect them, but they make my head hurt. But Ian and Dave are so much fun that I am now eagerly awaiting each new episode of this podcast so I can go along with them on Tintin and Snowy's wild adventures. They discuss the backstory, history,...Read full review »
