Audio from Jones is great, but poorly researched and rushed narration
The value of this podcast is in the audio recordings of Jones. If you're interested, I would recommend listening to the first 4 episodes, ending with The Death Tape (or just listen only to that episode). After that, it goes WAY down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole, engaging in outlandish speculation that despite claims is not valuable and is possibly harmful. Even though the narrator claims that whenever she is speaking it's a researched and verifiable fact, I heard enough dubious claims by her to doubt that. The final straw was her claim in episode 8 that Patricia Hearst was apprehended during the firefight that killed SLA leader Cinque. Such a massive and obvious error. If you're going to put that in, then it's hard to trust your word on other matters.Read full review »

Wow
I love the music! The entire thing feels so cinematic! Can we get a feature film please? Good work.

This is by far the most in depth telling of the history of people’s temple - absolutely awesome

I enjoy Tom Jones’ music. I’m not sure if he is a relative though, kind of spooky
