Frustrating
Luckily the content is interesting enough to carry itself, because the format of this podcast is completely irritating. They say they are playing the tapes without doctoring, yet play music over them? I am still confused about what is the tape and what is sound effect. They jump around to different subjects and replay clips over and over, drawing the story out until you're exhausted, mixing in random theories with no context. I wish someone else had done this deep dive.Read full review »

Some errors noted. I had no problem with the narrator. Coverage of the wacky MK Ultra stuff was good as was coverage of Jones’ 2 passports. Episode 1 has a tape snippet of a beating in Jonestown.
