Meh
Upon further listening I can no longer fully recommend this podcast and I'm revising my rating. What started out as very promising with a couple of pretty impressive early interview guests has devolved into a gushy love fest and tongue bathing for certain fanfic projects (primarily for Star Trek Continues currently) and random contemplation of the hosts own fanboy status peppered with lots of cackling at their own lame jokes. They periodically do a segment they call "stump the geek" that in this context with only the two of them is just painful and brings the pacing of the show to a dead stop when one host asks Trek trivia questions and the other host spends interminable amounts of dead airtime trying to come up with the answer. Yawn. I don't know what kind of connections these guys have, but after listening to 17 episodes now it's a mystery to me how they managed to snag interviews with Nana Visitor and Andrew J. Robinson. They get one star for those apparently good connections and some nicely handled interviews, but otherwise overall…meh. Unless you are super into fan projects this podcast is probably not worth your time. There are plenty of better ones out there. My recommendation at this time would be not to subscribe and waste space but only to download episodes on an individual basis if one pops up that interests you. YMMVRead full review »

I was an earlier listener to the podcast and use to can't wait for a new episode every week. But unfortunately they sold themselves to CBS and pretty much had went down the drains. I hope one day they will return to their roots.Read full review »
