Jason needs to be a better person
It’s a shame that Jason has decided to really up the ante when it comes to his “greater than thou” games journalism crusade. For a while he was tolerable for me, especially during the early Splitscreen days. After getting his job at Bloomberg, Jason has really grown into a sarcastic Twitter bully, who engages and then immediately blocks people, stirs up controversy and is just generally not likable. What he reports on (for the industry as a whole) is wonderful and needed. Crunch culture is terrible and industry leaders should be called out on it. What he doesn’t understand is that you can be a good person and still report on the ugly aspects of the gaming industry. He shouldn’t feel the need to call out streamers on Twitter. He doesn’t get to decide his side of an argument is absolutely 100% correct when it comes to comparing games and films and how they make someone feel. In a time where we need positivity more than ever, Jason has become just as toxic as some of the negativity he reports on. He should look inward and work on whatever he needs to work on to be a better person. I can’t support any form of media that this sarcastic bully is a part of. Best wishes to Kirk and Maddy! I will eagerly subscribe to anything that they decide to do without Jason involved.

Just ok. First two episodes felt like filler, but they brag about how short the show is. Just didn't speak to me.Read full review »
