Some of us have received the gift of the gospel, but we are living exhausted, burdened lives because we’re not walking in power. Jesus gave us the ultimate gift on the cross, but He also sent us another gift after ascending to the Father. Jesus said, “it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.” Paul also says in 1 Thessalonians 1:5, “for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction.” Stop limiting God’s power in your life. Let Him in and let Him empower you to take the gospel to the nations.

One of the questions I’ve heard a lot lately is this: Will things ever return to normal? Will life as we know it be permanently affected by the Coronavirus pandemic? Some people have guessed at what the “new normal” might look like. I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I do believe God has spoken to me about what He wants the “new normal” to look like in the lives of believers. He is wanting us to experience a new level of His glory and a new revelation of His presence, but there’s something we have to do first in order to experience it.
