“I listen to ALL of the True Crime Podcasts so of course I had to listen to this one! I like the format, giving the history of the Germany was nice. I've heard this story told multiple times and many don't discuss what life what like for people and you are 100% correct about that having an impact on the murders.
I would suggest letting your husband make his jokes some more and discuss this with you. He provides some comic relief. I know a lot of people don't appreciate that in a True Crime Podcast, but the best podcasts are always the ones that have a natural dynamic. Let that shine through! It also will cut up the monotony of just reading about the story.
