“True Crime Obsessed is an example of the worst of true crime. The hosts do no research whatsoever on the cases they cover, and spend the entire episode trivialising and reducing victims of violent crime, their families and the people working towards justice and support. The hosts are interested only in promoting themselves as self-righteous social justice warriors, inventing catch phrases to splash on merch and making enough profits to put on elaborate stage shows and book tours about themselves, rather than donating a single cent towards groups who actually work to solve violent crimes or to support victims and their families. Exploitative, self-absorbed and devoid of any compassion.”
