Conspiracy theories are mind numbingly boring, except when they’re tru
Conspiracy theories are usually mind numbing, disempowering, paranoid schizophrenia inducing garbage designed to turn politics into apathetic spectator fiction fantasy - even when they’re true or at least plausible. Yet, Liz Franczak and Brace Belden manage to merge conspiracy hypothesizing about the Jeffrey Epstein pedophile ring and his murder, to highlight how incestuous and morally rotten the political establishment is and how corporate media protects the powerful. Honestly my brain glazes over when they start connecting this or that nefarious figure to this or that other nefarious politician and this or that organization, but the always get to some important greater issue - plus Belden is just an endlessly entertaining comedy character, and I can listen to Franczak’s voice all day, and Yung Chomsky’s musical themes and interludes are hilarious. I look forward to it every week.

Two druggie burnout marxists ramble on constantly about a topic which should be impossible to make boring. Somehow though, these two manage to make me tune out with endless tangents and cringeworthy attempts at humor. Also Brace’s voice makes my ears bleed.
