Worthy conversations with sometimes uncredible guests.
This podcast is uneven depending on who the guests are. Mostly center-left with thoughtful considerations on current events. Just always run a background check on guests. More than once they’ve had lobbyists on as “informed experts.” It’s stuff like this that erodes honest journalism.

As a devoted fan of the slate podcast stream this one really disappointed me. The topics on the show are well considered and the guests are interesting and on point. Calling someone a rascist should be a pretty high threshold. However not in this podcast. They make massive leaps (i.e. anyone who thinks affirmitive action is bad is an unconscious racist and will vote for donald trump). Until somoene starts treating him fairly his strength only grows.
