TV Sessions Gabe Kanter

Well fellas, I’m here for the duration. Listened to E35 on my flight today and I have to say, I enjoyed it! Can’t wait to binge BCS after it wraps and listen to each pod after the episode! Keep it up.

These guys talk about TV for hours and it’s totally worth it! They clearly watch and rewatch whatever they are talking about so they can give better insight and clarity to the conversation at hand. Time really goes by b/c if you are interested in a show, they understand the filmmaking that was involved and bring genuine love to each pod.

I know a show is great once I start seeking out podcasts to accompany my viewing experience. It’s almost like the podcast offers analysis, insight, etc. that offers me a more thorough grasps on what I’m watching. As a huge BCS fan, I have done this for six seasons with a handful of podcasts with varying degrees of quality.

That all changed when I came across Gabe and Luke’s BCS podcast. From the first episode I listened to I knew instantly that their podcast was as vital a part of my BCS experience as the episode itself. What sets them apart from other podcast is simple: they are unapologetic fanboys of the show and they are unapologetic about it. They are not journalist covering BCS for their employer. This podcast is not a business venture. This is two dudes who simply love BCS and are borderline giddy to discuss it. They have a wealth of insight and analysis that enhances every, single episode and their attention to detail is unparalleled. For this show in particular, that is invaluable because their is a ton of “show, don’t tell” that can be easy to overlook. These guys are so thorough that anything that gets misinterpreted or slips through the cracks will almost certainly be covered in their episode breakdown.

If you love Better Call Saul and aren’t listening to this podcast than I strongly urge you to start listening. They are fans of the show like you and are so passionate that it’s impossible to not be entertained by their banter and insight. I look forward to their podcast after each episode as much if not more than the episode itself because it’s like two super fans discussing the show as they would even if their were not being recorded. They complete my BCS experience from one episode to the next and I cannot express to others just how strongly I would encourage other BCS fans to listen to these guys talk Saul.
