“Gotta say was pumped to see BSS get into the history game even in a lighthearted way. Large is great with his knowledge, side stories and tangents, and general ability to keep a fact based podcast moving.
Vibbs on the other hand. Who does this guy know at BSS or Pen to get this spot? Brutal one liners that try to be funny/completely add fiction to the narrative, ZERO relevant stories that have pertained in a productive way to the theme of a podcast, and pretty much zero beyond the surface knowledge of the facts. The one episode about Heisman winners part 1 was the best so far, just because we didn’t have him cutting in.
I hope Large is able to either position himself to be the main host/story teller and Vibbs is there just to chime in/attempt to joke - or they find a legit host (Donny?) who would put research in and actually add to the cast.”
