“Great review! I loved the first book so ended buying them all for my daughter to read. Your review was great. We both felt it was obvious the author was male. It had a similar vibe to Maze runner. Had a women written the book, the romantic parts would have been heartfelt and exciting…and the sad parts would have made us cry. It definitely lacked something but I love dystopian stories! I’m excited that a series will be coming out on Netflix. The author posted it on IG last month! BTW: The LUX series is our favourite book series… nothing has topped it!”
