If you like Candace Owens you’ll love Africa Brooke
I appreciate Africa for promoting a more understanding, patient and kind society and many of her critiques on things like the trendy neoliberal hollow understanding of identity politics and the mob mentality that stems from a culture of social media infographics, however I wish she would be more specific in her very long winded rants. Much of the time it’s very abstract and she rails against an imaginary leftist “mob” using pretty dismissive and dangerous right wing talking points you might hear on Fox News that are used to dismiss valid political discourse (bringing up “Black on Black crime” to invalidate a movement fighting against state sanctioned violence? Really?) To me she often seems hypocritical because she appeals to her audience for further dialogue but censors her comments on IG and doesn’t actually engage with any opposing arguments in the “self-responsible” way she promotes.

How can you block people who disagree with you on social media, but be an advocate against the sensitivity of our culture. Curated programmer, who also curates her Instagram to create a false narrative she is preaching.
