I just read it on twitter, and it belongs to an article on Success.com. ⁣ ⁣ Well, the first thing that came to my mind is: everything which is important to you is one way or the other related to fear. Because of the emotional attachment to it. ⁣ ⁣ I know that some says (I think it’s in Buddhism?) that it’s actually possible and for the better to practise not being emotional attached to anything, but I don’t agree on that. I find that being emotional attached is part of being human. What makes everything worth it. ⁣ ⁣ So, my point here is: try to build some sort of friendship with your fear instead, and see it as a helper that tells you something is important for you once it arises. ⁣ ⁣ The second thing I thought was: the thing about confidence! Well, I find that confidence is something that you build over time, by getting yourself started - and watching/experiencing yourself getting the results wanted! Sometimes you can even build confidence just on trying. ⁣ ⁣ But the one thing that doesn’t build any confidence is: being too fearful to even start. Or too much of a perfectionist or whatever word you use to cover up for the fear. ⁣ ⁣ So please, you might as well reframe your relationship with fear (if it’s a fearful one!) and get yourself started, in order to even consider stepping into your side hustle.
