“As others have said, the tapes are inaudible. Expected for their era, but don’t try and milk a past glory.
This guy has found a great story when it broke (by harassing poor members of their family and community, but that’s another story) and tried to recapture this by playing muffled tape recordings followed by ... “I asked her...” or “she said this...”
A pretty poor attempt at a cash grab in the podcast era. Should have left the tapes buried (they wouldn’t have been any clearer).”
