“This podcast has educated me through "blissful" ignorance, challenged me to not remain silent, and empowered me to trust the Lord first through prayer. As a young white man, I CHOSE to ignore what was going on in our world and in the Church. I felt maybe it was easier to act like the problems weren't really there. I thank you two for challenging the Church to acknowledge where we have fallen short, and to take action. I also thank you for the sobering reminder that, without God, we will not see true racial reconciliation in our church's, workplaces, and communities. If I could walk away with only one thing, it would be: Let our prayers not be reactive to the ever present, and ever increasing horrific events that continue to occur.
