I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast because it expands my mind through conversations and stories in a gentle and welcoming way. I am a second generation settler on this land and most of what I learned through this podcast I've never heard before. I feel grateful to everyone who creates this...Read full review »

I have been stunned by the heart-rending testimonies of the victims of appalling abuses of human rights recorded in this podcast, including the deliberate targeting of children and the premeditated destruction of family ties. In the UK the predominant myth is still widely held that the...Read full review »

truly an amazing podcast, Falen Johnson was a fantastic host and so is Rosanna Deerchild. Love the different topics, but can get a bit repetitive at times. Bring on the more unique formats!

I took an Indigenous History course in my younger days (I took it in 2002-03, as a credit toward my Bachelor of Arts and had a double major in French Language/Literature and History). But a white settler Prof (an Anglican Minister) taught the course, so looking back, it felt somewhat misplaced...Read full review »

Stories that need to be told. The indigenous peoples stories, histories and amazing cultures were invisible to me. I feel like something has been lifted from my eyes and all the beauty, glory and sorrow can now be seen. Thank you for great guests and topics

I’ve followed this show for several years now via podcast and I enjoy the stories very much. As a recent immigrant to Canada from 1996, I was not fully aware of the indigenous peoples, their stories, and experiences. This show is helping me break stereotypes and bring about change. I love it!...Read full review »

This is such a great podcast, love the wide variety of topics and the highlighting of so many indigenous people’s life work. One thing I would suggest is adding the names and social media tags into the episode description so listeners can find them easily and support.
