Stop hating on the re-enactments
The re-enactments seem to be a make or break point for most reviewers... The tone of the show clearly is not a serious one. This is entertainment. This podcast has great storytelling, and very entertaining re-enactments. It is not about actually trying to solve the murders, but rather taking the listener on a true crime journey through a unique presentation of each case. Also, please stop comparing to Crime Junkies. It’s a completely different kind of show. The ads are annoying, though. Especially in the more recent episodes. Love you guys!

The entire episode sounds like an intro. I kept waiting for it to get serious and it never did. The music and sounds are too much. And acting out the scenes were truly cringeworthy. I love true crime podcasts so this was disappointing. Weird that it's ranked so highly on the app.Read full review »
