“I'm aware, as we all are, that the original source of the entertainment is people's suffering. The True Crime genre, is fundamentally tainted by this, I feel. It can so easily feel wrong, all wrong. However, the respect for the facts, compassion for the victims and expressions of sympathy by the hosts are genuine, I'd say necessary for the success of these excellent podcasts.”
