“This show just isn’t what it used to be. Originally when they were going through the AFI 100 they would talk about the film they had watched, it was interesting and entertaining.
Now Amy constantly (by constantly I mean several times each and every episode) compares the week’s movie to the Marvel movies. For a writer she almost never articulates her point well and is almost never factually correct. She calls out plot points that didn’t exists, misquotes dialog that didn’t happen. She is hellbent on comparing everything to this straw-man. I’m not some Marvel fanboy defending a billion dollar franchise that doesn’t need me to defend it. I’m annoyed that this is what every episode has become.”
