baseball/culture
I love it for the minor league baseball talk, the talk about scouting, how scouting works what scouts look for and how they rate players and also the talk about actual minor league prospects. Lots of talk about players outside the system of the team I follow that I would probably never hear about any other place. You can hear a bunch of faces blather on the television with their cliches and drivel or you can listen to a couple guys who get right to it and actually talk about the sport. I can hear about what happened in the majors anywhere I want to look, the baseball and the players these guys talk about I probably wouldn't even know they existed if it wasn't for this podcast. The other third of the podcast is the guys talking about their lives outside baseball, what books they read, music they listen to tv they watch etc. You might not like all the music they like but they are smart guys with pretty wide tastes and you might learn something.

My favorite podcast out there. I could listen to these guys talk about absolutely anything. Like the aforementioned Mexican Coke, sometimes it's hard to explain exactly why it's better than similarly-packaged products, but once you try it, you'll be bugging your friends to join the club. Just...Read full review »
