The sound design is incredible! There’s so much nuance, it really draws you in to discover the crazy twists you don’t see coming. A really fun and captivating listen, I hope they make more!

First half will get you hooked for sure. I wanted more explanation at the ending, but knowing it’s a podcast vs a movie I knew it would be very challenging to do without it sounding too drawn out or explaining. Really hope this could be adapted to a film someday!!!

I loved it!! Several times throughout, I got goosebumps and that tells me all I need to know! It left me questioning what was actually going on and where I typically can have things figured out by the end, I had no idea! Again, loved it!

Listen Now! -This is a wonderful narrative treat, just sitting and listening closely on your phone speaker is wonderful. Shell isn't dystopian or a thriller, it’s not dark or scary. Shell is a future-realistic exploration of emotions through a fun story following characters you love for who...Read full review »

Shell was an intense listening experience. I was in the edge of my seat. I liked all the characters and really liked the surprise twist! Great writing!

This sci-fi podcast takes it to to a whole other level. A long past place and time in a future of endless possibilities. Thanks for a glimpse into a future that actually may become reality…

I couldn’t even get past the first 20min before I could tell where it was headed. Thanks but no thanks.

I’m only a few episodes in, and the story seems pretty good. The voice acting is forced and unnatural. Probably some poorly written dialog. Also, there are so many obnoxious ads throughout each episode. Keep your finger on that skip button.

Great story, thrilling from beginning to end..

I just listened to the first couple and the ads will probably make me move on from this. Half of the content is ads. Seems like an interesting story though.

Bruh. A little explanation at the end, please!! Left us with more questions than answers. Great pod, though, more of that.

** no spoilers** I have never listen to a scripted crime podcast before,I actually thought this was a true crime podcast when I listen to it but the acting was surprisingly good so I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only gripe is that I don’t know if they had a 10 episode limit or something but it felt...Read full review »

I understand the need for income, through advertisements, to fund the show however, the 2 minute ads every 8 minutes is brutal. I am unable to watch these shows in the car as I am unable to skip through the ads not to mention I can’t last the two minutes due to the extremely boring ads. I’d love...Read full review »

The episodes are overrun w/ commercials considering the run time. That being said, I enjoyed listening. Some of the acting was poor but not all of it. I’d recommend it.

An excellent scripted drama

The actors are so bad it’s comical. But once I’ve invested 5 minutes I feel like I need to finish it.

Podcast scripted drama - my new favourite thing having discovered this series. I’ve been gripped by this story week by week, the twists, the characters, an amazing cast and some of the best dialogue (contemporary, socially relevant, sometimes moving sometimes darkly funny) I’ve listened to in...Read full review »

It’s such a good scripted podcast . I really enjoyed that it wasn’t sci-fi .

C’mon guys. The frequency and lengths of ads in this show are ridiculous. If you can get past that the podcast is entertaining. A little cringey and cheesy at times but if you enjoy shows on the CW network this will be right up your alley.
hwu1020 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/11/21
Great content but too many adds for the length of the episode. Seemed like half the podcast was an add for other podcasts.

The commercials are really terrible on this podcast. They are much louder than the actual podcast and the same thing over and over again! The podcast is great, but the commercials make me not want to listen.

Great script, actors, and concept. So glad to have a good fiction podcast that isn’t sci-fi or dystopian. *****

Ads
This podcast should be renamed “Ads” because that’s basically all it is. Also, federal investigators don’t talk to defendants about their pleas.

Anything connected with Wayland Productions is next level! And this does not disappoint. Can’t wait to hear the rest

Slow burn. But grounded in realism. Don’t expect a lot of music. It’s like as real as a fictional drama can get. But very good
