How one video's performance impacts your next video's performance
Listen now
Description
What's going on when you publish a video, it flops, and then your next videos after that flop, too? Does the performance of one video on your channel impact the next? Yes and no. There's two different ways to look at this phenomenon on YouTube. One way is an algorithmic perspective in terms of what YouTube's algorithm thinks about your next video based on the videos that were published before it. The second way is an audience perspective of how they behave with future content if you publish a video that doesn't connect with them. In this episode, we talk about both perspectives of this situation as well as many other questions you've submitted about hiring contractors on UpWork, recording voice overs, and when to update the metadata of older videos to breathe new life into them again.
