“I'm shocked this collection is allowed distribution because it's an utterly false representation and lesson on Vietnamese cuisine! First & foremost: It is 100% UNauthentic. The chef isn't Vietnamese; the ingredients and dish names are misspelled and mispronounced. What's worse: The dish names are completely mistranslated and the recipes do not correspond at all, e.g. Banh Hoi Thit Nuong is extra fine vermicelli rice patties served with grilled pork-- NOT shrimp toasts! (Not even close!) Don't bother with these recipes if you're actually seeking out Vietnamese food.”
