Award-winning host and advocate Amanda de Cadenet connects with trailblazing women around the world to celebrate the multifaceted nature of the female experience. From models and athletes, to actors and designers, these honest conversations explore how their unique voices and journeys leave the world better than they found it.

The VS Voices podcast provides a platform for women to speak their diverse truths, share personal stories, and advance discussions of issues that are important to them. If you choose to listen, you will hear a wide range of thoughts, opinions, and world views—some of which you may agree with and some you may not, and that’s ok. Our goal isn’t to champion any one perspective, but to provide a platform that amplifies women’s voices and the diversity of their perspectives. The views expressed do not necessarily reflect those of Victoria’s Secret. The content is purely for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be taken as medical or other professional advice. Also, please take caution as the podcast may from time to time include content that you may deem to be offensive, objectionable, and/or explicit, but we still hope you enjoy hearing our guest’s stories and a unique view into their lives, purposes, and passions.

Walking Two Worlds with Native Model Quannah ChasingHorse

ChasingHorse grew up in a matriarchal family in Alaska as a member of the Hän Gwich'in people. Her advocacy, on behalf of her community, has made her an ambassador in the fashion industry for new perspectives and values, which she inherited from her mother and grandmother. For ChasingHorse, integrity and authenticity runs deep—her entire family is rooted in Native advocacy and raised her to have a distinct, fiery voice all her own. In this passionate conversation, ChasingHorse walks us through the culture shock she encountered coming to the continental US for the first time, stewardship of nature, of her people’s story, of the gifts they have to give, and the ways she grounds herself as she takes the fashion world by storm.

“Being a Woman Does Not Mean Always Being Okay” with Jenny Fax

“Being a Woman Does Not Mean Always Being Okay” with Jenny Fax

The Taiwan-born designer found her original inspiration in a Laura Ashley dress owned by her mother—and she snipped, stitched, and sewed her own wardrobe until she recreated the clothes she pined after. Once her technique was refined in Asia and Europe, she launched her label in Tokyo in 2011. Her designs are meant to embody the female gaze—influenced by past and present Japanese subcultures, Asia, and ‘80s American culture. Her creations are fun, yet deeply personal and have gained a cult following across the globe. In this interview, Fax delves into the highs and lows of her childhood, pushing the boundaries of the classic Japanese aesthetic, “Kawai”, and how her motto of “It’s okay to not be okay” played into her role in The Tour ‘23.

All about self, hates capitalism, racism

This guest needs to read all history not select history. Try putting others first and serving the community not self. It’s really a waste of time.
