Just wanted science, got political lectures
The first episode I listened to was amazing; a discussion on genetics - I thought I would love this podcast. Every other conversation is so incredibly uninteresting. I listened to him argue with some lady about an article she wrote and how it ruined his life, a creepy NY Times guy talking about pedophilia, and I’m now listening to a 20 minute weird plane analogy about Trump. The conversation episodes don’t have topic so you can’t know what you’re listening to until 5 minutes in (after his shpiel in making you pay for the whole episode on another platform)... I listen primarily in the car so when I finally understand what topic is being discussed, I’m stuck with the crying about the “Trumpocalypse” or whatever it is until the next red light. Very disappointing. No one cares about your politics or Twitter fights. Science, please!

More reviews of Making Sense with Sam Harris
Sam is a paragon of clear thinking. The clarity of thought shows in how he can express himself so well, and yet so effortlessly. This is only possible when your thoughts are sound and ordered. And such a nice voice too.

Sam Harris’ work has frequently stretched my horizons and made me confront my assumptions. His arguments are always well-reasoned. Superb podcast!
