A fun, extraordinary podcast
What a gift this podcast is! Mark Scarbrough’s commitment to close reading is inspiring. As a companion to reading Dante in translation, the podcast is a blast—reading through the Inferno is pleasurable in the extreme, and Mark provides intellectual and historical illumination along with his palpable passion for the work. His skills as a communicator are exemplary. This is a brilliant use of the podcast as a medium.
