One chilly morning in leaf-bare, Mosslion was out collecting the last of the herbs on her territory. ShadowClan had invaded not long ago, and while they were fleeing, they took their herbs! Just then, she heard a growl. She looked up to come face to face with a dog! 🐶

Orchidpaws Curse

I’m a bit weird-looking. Or- ‘cursed’ as the other Clan cats call me. They all stare at me like I’m a dog! No matter how many times I prove I’m loyal, they never trust me. I saved my adopted littermate Rainpaw from a dog, and all she did was meow, “Wow. The Cursed Apprentice saves the medicine cat apprentice. How great and mighty!” and then she padded away with her herbs, growling and muttering about how stupid I was. I stayed in the apprentice den the rest of the day, and my mentor, the kindest cat in the Clan, gave me tick duty because I ‘disobeyed’. My mentor is Quilflight, the most youngest, most attractive, most kindest cat in ThunderClan. I’m technically from ShadowClan. Those fox-hearts…my looks…well…I have tabby orange fur with black, white, gray, silver, and beige spots. Then, I have one yellow eye and one green eye. Then, to make things worse, I’m the tallest apprentice! Even though I’m 12 moons old, younger than the oldest apprentice Silkpaw, I’m the tallest! I’m as tall as a youngish warrior. So everyone calls me a freak. And worst part is, ShadowClan gave me up at a gathering! ThunderClan’s leader Wishstar took me in automatically, telling me I had a great shot at being a warrior no matter what. I still try, but it’s a little rough.

Trivia

-Orchidpaw’s warrior name was Orchidwillow.

-Orchidwillow and Silknose became mates, having three litters of kits.

-Silknose became leader, Orchidwillow becoming his deputy

-Wishstar’s son Rushpelt loved Orchidwillow and was devastated when she chose Silknose.

-Raintuft turned out to be one of the best medicine cats in ThunderClan

-Orchidwillow’s daughter Milknose became Raintuft’s apprentice
