I started “Cast Your Burdens” podcast in full faith that God will meet you where you are, but not leave you as you are.
My mission is to share my personal experiences with you, in order to let you know you aren’t alone. I will be shedding light on topics that aren’t easy to discuss, but they are necessary. This is where Jesus meets us, in the dirt and the grime. In the moments that threaten to shame us, God desires to deliver us. Not just temporarily, but permanently. When we are willing to cast our burdens on Him, He promises to sustain us.

    The Battle is Not Ours

    The Battle is Not Ours

It’s easy to think we are alone in our battles. It’s easy to take things into our own hands. It’s easy to return evil for evil. What’s not easy is, trusting God when He says, “Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you.”

    Our Strength is Weakness

    Our Strength is Weakness

I was talking to my Mom a few weeks ago and I was telling her that if I was going to make “Christian Content” I don’t want to make content that shows me living this “perfect life”. This life where I don’t tell people the real. A life that I have lived before. A double one. Living for Christ online but not in real life or acting as if I don’t still struggle with sin and with my flesh. I also haven’t been on because of fear. If I am being honest. The fear or reaction of others to the topics that will be discussed. The fear of being “hated” for standing on the Word of God in this generation. The fear of being looked at as a “bigot” or a “super christian”, but at the end of the day I have to stand on what I know to be true. Hebrews 4:12 What I know to be true freedom, and that is Jesus Christ. Psalms 56:11 says in God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me? 2 Timothy 1:7 For the spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self discipline.

    Worry Less, Trust God More

    Worry Less, Trust God More

Scripture is coming from Matthew 6:25 - 27. NIV Translation. I don’t know about y’all, but I have been a worry wart for a long time. That’s ultimately because I have put more faith in my strength rather than putting it all in God.

    Personality Traits

    Personality Traits

Always remember that God knows you full inside and out. Psalms 139 is proof of this. This was a last minute topic I wanted to discuss on this amazing Sunday. We were all given different and specific personalities for a reason. There is not just one type of category that any one personality falls under. However, certain categories do dominate our personalities. I enjoy being alone the most, without being lonely. I enjoy deep conversations. I enjoy a having a small quantitive circle. When I tell y’all that I can truly go days without talking to a single soul, I mean it. I am grateful God has made me to enjoy my own solitude. However, He is teaching me that even through my personality there’s a few adjustments I need to make. I pray this segment encourages my introverts. I haven’t met many introverts, but I know y’all are out there.

I had to make some corrections from the last segment, and I was happy to do so.

    Do Not Grow Weary

Disclaimer : I used Matthew 7:3-5 out of context. This scripture is in reference to believers in Christ. Not a believer and a non - believer as I was referencing in this segment. ———————————————An encouragement to believers and a message to those who God has drawn to listen to this segment. May we stand ten toes down on what we believe. In love and in boldness.

I pray that many hear this msg ♥️

Elizabeth,

Listening to this brought tears to my eyes because the love of Jesus can’t even be described with one word but I know it’s powerful and can’t be compared to man. I pray that many understand that Jesus will meet them exactly where they are and love them. Thank you for sharing this blessing. It will change others lives. May God continue to bless you, may The Holy Spirit dwell within you and give you the words to say that will change lives or bring them closer to God. God has given you a gift!

Your Sister in Christ,
Jamelle

Greatness

Listening to these podcasts has motivated me to move forward with things I never even thought I wanted to do. I am grateful to have these podcasts to remind me just how easy it is to take control of my life and emotions. All while remembering it is okay to struggle and not be okay. ❤️
