The playground/pub banter act is wearing thin, James’ domination by talking over guests answering questions is plain rude. The icing on the cake was James stating to a noted US WWII Museum curator that the Royal Navy was known as “The Senior Service” because it formed the bulk of the Armed Forces on D-Day. No, the RN was formally established in 1660, the British Army in 1661. Senior means older not larger. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Already one of my favorites. If the rest are as good as Episode 1, and that will be hard to accomplish, it will be my favorite. Depth of knowledge about WW2 is impressive. Well done, good show
