You spoke of the author of the occult and his insight into how our perceptions can cloud our mind and interfere with our mental health. I think you were very wise to use his theories to help yourself in your own struggles.
What this strongly brought back to me was the similarity of his ideas and CBT ( cognitive behavioural therapy) which myself and my daughter found when she was very sick with major depression as a teenager. The physiologist who we found for her used CBT and it is the only reason my daughter is still here today. It retrained her brain to think more logically, very much similar to what you spoke of.
Basically if you struggle with mental health listen to this. It may help you, it may suit you individually. Different ways can help different people but our experience has us believe in the power of CBT.
Thanks Kev for another insightful talk and thank you for being brave and talking about it. I’m sure it will help someone.
