“I’ve always believed that Cliff Richard & The Shadows have never truly got the recognition they deserve and they have certainly been overlooked many times when the history of British Rock ‘n’ Roll is being reviewed. How refreshing it is to have these excellent podcasts reviewing their outstanding music! Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Aladdin & His Wonderful Lamp episode! I especially enjoyed listening to Maggie Green talking about her memories! Like Maggie, my Mom saw Cliff & The Shadows for the first time in this production with my Nan! Years later I took my Mom & Nan to see Cliff at the NIA, Birmingham on 19th December 1999. This would be the last time my Mom & Nan saw Cliff live but they both loved it, especially because Hank Marvin joined Cliff on stage throughout the night in Birmingham and also because Cliff performed I’m In Love With You from Aladdin & His Wonderful Lamp. A song that my Mom always liked. Keep up the great work! Well done to everyone involved! I’m looking forward to the next episode! Best wishes Darren”
