I am always looking forward to each new episode - Liz really knows her stuff and meets every guest at eye level. I really love how accessible she keeps the conversation - and yet I come away feeling intellectually stimulated, having learned so much and feeling fired up to dig deeper and live more...Read full review »

At long last an interview with someone who discusses the importance of high fibre plant based eating to support the gut microbiome and not the usual chat about high protein animal based diets and the hosts usual dig at vegans/vegetarian/plant based eating

So many relevant topics covered for any woman of any age. Particularly helpful for me at 61 wishing to underpin a healthy lifestyle. I’m finding myself so much better informed to ask my GP relevant questions about my health. Liz is such a smart lady, beautiful “ at any age”, inspirational to all...Read full review »

Is it possible to find some British experts pls? Not a fan of the Americans. I’ve been a fan for a long time but can’t listen to them

I really tried to like this podcast. I really wanted to. But the amount of misinformation and kowtowing to unproven and sometimes extreme “information“. And I’m sorry anybody who thinks they have a biological age of 35 in their mid 60s is just delusional.

Prime example of non evidence based medicine. Also, please stop touting Cgm monitors for those without type 1 diabetes. How someone is making money from all their own opinion on solo episodes really makes me angry. Go ask a doctor if you really want advice and help about what may enhance your...Read full review »

I tried to listen to the PMS episode but had to switch it off as the interviewer never really gave time for the guest to properly answer any questions, often interrupting them or asking a new question before the previous one had been answered. Really frustrating!

I used to use Liz’s products (then I realised she’d sold the company so I went far more natural with another, smaller one) I always believed her to be an advocate of natural health - now I’m not so sure; I tried to listen to the episode with Gaby Logan and although they’re easy to listen to, it...Read full review »

Interesting, thought provoking and well presented podcast about cholesterol. I do wonder however if the overall message we were left with was that all cholesterol levels are fine, and there’s no good reason behind why we want to measure or address them. The message was that there’s no evidence...Read full review »

….are you sure you don’t want to take a little bit of HRT?” Is Dr Ginni Mansberg being serious here? Her research might be good over in Australia but expect to find judgemental comments fuelled by the usual misogyny about women’s appearances. I always liked Liz Earle from my time living in the UK in the 90s, I hadn’t heard much from her since I left the UK so I was happy to find her podcast and her magazine just recently. I listen to a lot of podcasts and stumbled on this one as an author I admire was being interviewed. Stock questions seemingly written by a researcher were dull and an insult to the interviewee. What a shame.

Informative but host speaks over her guests and asks questions to insert her (often biased) opinion rather than genuinely wanting her guest to provide information.
