“As a proud Calgarian, it’s great to finally have a platform that speaks to Alberta and Western issues in a moderate and measured way, rather than speaking for one side of the usual polarized debate (i.e. hyper-conservative rural Albertans vs central Edmontonians who end up moving to Toronto). Most Albertans sit in the centre, and this show represents that. It also looks to the future, rather than whining about past problem or injustices (i.e. laurentianism is real, but complaining about it isn’t going to do anything). I also love the expression “west of-centre” - I plan on adopting that as my “stated political ideology” at dinner parties in the future.”
