Scared
This interview tapped into my growing concern that many western cultures/countries are evolving beyond the two primary ideological views of individualism and collectivism that galvanised populations towards a better life and away from malevolent dictatorships. It seems the success of the West over the failed idea of communism has ironically resulted in a culture of a million fascists. Instead of a world populated with informed, educated, rational humanists, respecting individual differences, we have a rising population of educated, self interested bigots. This interview both impressed and depressed me.
