What you wish you had in high school
As longtime Wildbow fan, I was intrigued by the idea of a podcast about my favorite novel. Matt and Scott have completely blown my expectations away with their incredible literary analysis of this world and it's characters. When I first read this book, I simply enjoyed it for the story, but on my second read, the character-grounded discussion of this universe and its multitude of themes, conflicts, and story have brought out a new life from the text I would never have seen otherwise. It's funny (strange) that before listening to Scott and Matt I didn't really think of the characters in this book as people, just interesting devices in a fun plot, but that change in my perspective has shown me the power that real literature can have; seeing the world through completely different characters' perspectives has helped me even in my daily life to think about the things that people say and do not just from my own perspective, but also to try and emulate theirs as well. Thanks so much guys!Read full review »
