terrible advice and obsessed with looks
The advice they gave the woman struggling with recovering from an emotionally unfaithful husband was some of the worst advice I think could have been given. There was no true thought to what the woman was experiencing and needing to heal from. Just how to fake it till you make it for her husbands sake. That will heal nothing. I want to reach out to that woman and encourage her to be so open and honest with her husband, as well as seek much better advice elsewhere. They talk about beauty so much, but it’s beginning to come off as inauthentic. It’s starting to seem like they focus far too much on what others think of them and how they look, rather than being a witness to beauty. In the last episode, they talked about calling out your spouse if they are starting to let themselves go. However, they made it all about how they feel and what it says to them rather than digging to the root cause with their spouse on what might be going on in their life that is making them feel less motivation. They used an example of a husband drinking too much and getting a beer belly. Their advice was to say that it made them feel less loved. However, in my personal opinion, there is clearly something that the spouse is struggling with if they keep going to alcohol. So instead of focusing on how things make them feel, you should have an open and honest discussion with your spouse on what might be leading them to drink and how you can help them overcome that. It’s not all about you ladies! I think this might be my last episode. Sad to see this podcast go!

This podcast makes me feel like I’m making up for lost time with the Catholic girl friends I’ve always wanted. I’ve caught myself laughing and...Read full review »
