“I really like how Julian relates to his guests and the thoughtful and considered questions he asks. He has a gentle but always politely incisive manner. He seems to build rapport so them really well by getting what they are saying and asking smart questions. It’s an intelligent podcast and I really appreciate that. It also seems tidily produced and has little fanfare.
I particularly liked how Julian said recently that he will introduce himself properly so that he can demonstrate that he’s qualified to be someone who people can listen to. This is true, he is, but also it’s true that so many people just start podcasts and they haven’t really got the background for it.
