With a sad heart
This podcast used to be my shining star on Fridays when I would be working. I even contributed to the Patreon of these ladies for a good chunk of a year, simply because I loved hearing the unique take of these interesting women. Plenty of laughs, informative updates on the gaming industry, & some interesting takes on games new & old. Then one of the three cohosts Steimer left. I know the remaining hosts have had kids & still strive to bring the show to the fans, & I really appreciate that effort. However, slowly, I’ve noticed a change that took full force during the review of the Game Awards episode. There was a lot of negativity I don’t come to this show for, & Andrea especially had negative opinions projected toward It Takes Two, a game she admits she didn’t play. It couldn’t be saved by her saying she was going to reserve her judgment after she already gave it. I love Brittney on this show, but somehow, she seemed negative too. It almost seems like an ingredient that kept the show upbeat & fun just got sucked out, & it made me feel hard pressed to listen to episodes. I know they are looking for 5-star reviews to combat opinions like mine, but I felt strongly enough, especially after being a listener from the very start, that I feel very disappointed. & that comes to my title of this review… With a sad heart from a listener who has been there from the very beginning, contributing monetarily even believing in this channel, finally I unsubscribe.

What's Good Games is a fun group of women talking about gaming. Ever since finding their podcasts and streams I find I can't get enough of it. I recommend everyone support Andrea, Steimer, Britt, and Alexa Ray and subscribe!Read full review »
